Through my work at the Benson Center, I’m deeply involved in several outreach efforts. Most importantly, I direct the Benson Undergraduate Fellowship, a fellowship for roughly thirty CU-Boulder undergraduates whose aim is to foster a flourishing intellectual community passionate about the Western tradition and exposure to a wide range of social, political, religious, and other views. As director, I mentor Fellows and organize and host a variety of co-curricular events for them and other CU undergraduates—from reading groups to cultural outings to Western Civ trivia nights. I also am currently developing a Western Civilization certificate in conjunction with the fellowship.
Besides directing the Benson Center’s undergraduate fellowship, I also help plan and organize our public lectures and other events, play a central role in our strategic planning, and actively liaise with our donors, university administrators, and other stakeholders. In addition, I’m involved in the PPE Society, for which I’ve served as an Annual Meeting co-organizer, referee, session chair, and presenter.
