I’m the Nancy Schaenen Endowed Visiting Scholar of Ethics and Assistant Director of Academic Services at the Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University. I specialize in political philosophy, PPE (philosophy, politics, and economics), and ethics. I’m also interested in ancient philosophy, history of philosophy, and philosophy of religion. I received my PhD in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in May 2022.

I was born in São Paulo, Brazil and am a dual citizen of Brazil and the United States. Before my PhD, I studied philosophy and religion at Harvard University. In my free time, I enjoy learning languages, making music (I sing and play a little piano), powerlifting, and writing poetry.
